FLORES, SOTERO
Spouse:
Gertrudis Martinez (maiden)
In an entry dated November 17, 1856, an account is written that Sotero Flores, along with "his daughter, four Carolinians, a boy" was aboard a Carolinian
banca (seagoing canoe).
In the same account, there is a report of a fairly strong typhoon. Sotero Flores and the other
banca occupants "... did not put in at any of the northern islands, and it is believed they have probably drowned."
